After practicing traditional pottery in her hometown of Heimberg, Switzerland, Margrit Linck found her artistic calling when travelling to Berlin and Paris in the 1930s, becoming part of an emerging art scene with illustrious names such as Picasso, Giacometti and Braque. She began to develop a new design language and form for ceramics, which became the foundation of the modern-day Linck, where these extraordinary designs are still being made by hand to this day.
